A truck roars down a dirt road in the middle of the Nevada desert. Leaving a plume of dust behind. Aboard are Matt, Jesse, and Petey Ryker, the sons of Ramsey Ryker, who is the patriarch of the violent Ryker family. Ramsey runs a counterfeit ring out of his high security compound in the desert town of Inferno, Nevada — a town terrorized by not only the Ryker family, but also by the Ravers, a group of drug runners led by a drug kingpin named Beserko. Something catches Petey's eye from a distance, and then two gunshots ring out. They approach a man named Eddie Lomax, by his broken-down truck, under the scorching heat of the desert's sun. Eddie has been drinking heavily and is trying to commit suicide with his .45 Automatic. The Ryker brothers insult, shoot, and brutally beat up Eddie. After robbing Eddie of his pearl-handled 45 automatic and his sleek Moto Guzzi VII Sport motorcycle that they find under a tarp on the back of the truck, they leave him to die. Eddie is found by an eccentric old timer named Jubal Early, who takes him to the abandoned mine shaft that he calls home, and nurses him back to health. Eddie, upon Jubal's suggestions, decides to get out of town and not seek revenge. But on the day he walks into the Road Runner Diner to buy a bus ticket, Eddie changes his mind. When Eddie meets Rhonda Reynolds, the daughter of the diner's owner Pop Reynolds, she realizes that Eddie has always blamed himself for things. Eddie's reason for coming to Inferno is to deliver a letter to Rhonda — the letter that he promised her dead husband Josh he would bring to her. Helping Rhonda is, in Eddie's mind, a way for him to make up for the loss that she has suffered on his account, and it represents one more cause in Eddie's quest for justice in Inferno.

After 15 years of serving and fighting for the Roman Empire the Sarmatian Knights, lead by Arthur/Artorious Castus, are about to receive their freedom as the Romans are leaving Britain. But the Knights must carry out one final order before they are free. A Roman priest and his family, especially his son Alecto, must be rescued from the invading Saxons. But there is another danger lurking on the road to freedom - the Woads, British rebels who hate the Romans.

When the democratic government of Nigeria collapses and the country is taken over by a ruthless military dictator, Waters, a fiercely loyal and hardened veteran is dispatched on a routine mission to retrieve a Doctors Without Borders physician, Dr. Lena Kendricks. Dr. Kendricks, an American citizen by marriage, is tending to the victims of the ongoing civil war at a Catholic mission in a remote village. When Waters arrives, however, Dr. Kendricks refuses to leave unless he promises to help deliver the villagers to political asylum at the nearby border. If they are left behind, they will be at the mercy of the enormous rebel army. Waters is under strict orders from his commanding officer Captain Bill Rhodes to remain disengaged from the conflict. But as he and his men witness the brutality of the rebels first-hand, they are won over to Dr. Kendricks' cause and place their lives at risk by agreeing to escort the villagers on a perilous trek through the dense jungle. As they move through the countryside on foot, Waters' team, experts at evasion and concealment, are inexplicably and ferociously pursued by an army of rebels. They are confounded until they discover that, among the refugees, is the sole survivor of the country's previous ruling family, whom the rebels have been ordered to eliminate at all costs. Waters and his small band of soldiers must weigh the life of one man against their own and the refugees they feel obliged to protect.

Quinn goes to Antwerp, Belgium and hooks up with flamboyant arms dealer Yaz, who has the newest fully-automatic weapons. With Quinn's assembled delta-force, an ambush is set for Stavros at a local amusement park. Stavros arrives, and greets his girlfriend...and his son. Quinn finds himself unable to shoot Stavros with his son. This moment of hesitation is costly, and Quinn's entire team is killed off in a shoot-out with Stavros' men -- a shoot-out in which Stavros's son and girlfriend are both killed. Quinn chases Stavros into a nearby hospital, and they battle it out in a nursery full of newborn babies. Quinn is knocked out cold, and Stavros escapes, vowing revenge on Quinn for the deaths of his son and girlfriend, not knowing that Quinn was not the agent who killed them. When Quinn comes to, he finds himself in "The Colony," a place where "those who are too valuable to kill and too dangerous to set free" use their special skills around the world as "the last line of defense against global terrorism." Using virtual reality and mouseless-graphical-user-interfaces, they solve all the world's bombings, hijackings, and terrorist attacks. The only problem is that no one can ever leave The Colony. That's why Quinn's superiors tell Katherine that Quinn is dead. Not long after his arrival, Quinn finds evidence that Katherine is being targeted by Stavros, and so Quinn hatches an elaborate plan to escape from the Colony so he can protect Katherine. Once out of The Colony, Quinn hooks up with Yaz, and they learn that Stavros has kidnapped Katherine and taken her to Rome, planning to get revenge on Quinn through the baby, which Katherine has given birth to. Quinn and Yaz set out for Rome to rescue Katherine. It all comes to a head in a Roman coliseum in a showdown featuring a tiger, land mines...and the baby.
